Recognize the gap between the current behaviour and the desired behaviour.

Willing to make change and taking (small) steps toward the change.
Making choices is very important – you have an idea of what you want and what you are willing to do. Goal setting, planning for succes and relapses are very important.

You start acting on the change you are willing to make.
